my friend showed me this song telling me that i would be kinda scared but addicted at the same time.. thats exactly how i felt xD. now that i can see the english lyrics, i think this song is basically about just being who you are and having fun; who cares what other people think. enjoy life while youre young, because before you know it you wont have that option anymore.

To “eat crow” is an expression that means to go back on one’s word, though I don’t imagine Japanese would know that, so I should think in terms of their concepts. Crows are associated with tengu in Japan. There are two main types of tengu: one of them is a long-nosed humanoid who is very arrogant, the other is the crow tengu that isn’t as smart, though it can still be tricky. Both the crows and the eyeball could be commentary on the characteristics of what she says. What you called rainbows looks more like streamers, or a pattern decoration… which leaves me at a loss. However, it could all just be random. Though, they could have something to do with pop culture, since she makes references to Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura and maybe Revolutionary Girl Utena.

First time I listened to kyary was last night (this song and candy), and I don’t think the lyrics are hard to understand. Everything is pretty self explanatory. She didn’t think riding a merry go round was a good idea because her head is already going in circles, then later in the song she decides it’s best to be yourself and do what you want. Even in the video things are frequently going in circles.
